Nigeria SuperStar musician David Adeleke popular to known as Davido has taken his officially Twitter account to ask the Nigeria Federal Government to return his father’s N500 Million donated funds to help fight against the global pandemic disease Coronavirus in the country.
Davido published this post on Wednesday and many Nigerians are quite pleased to saw this coming from the musician.
If you could recall Davido’s Father made the pledge of N500 million along side other high profile Nigerians and cooperate bodies within the country to help fight against coronavirus alongside N250 million worth of rice to the people Osun State, where he hails from.
On Wednesday 8th April 2020 it was reported that the Federal Government Accountant General’s office got burnt just a day after they where asked to give account of the donated fund to the federal government account.
The fire outbreak has prompt many Nigerians to ask billions of questions concerning the funds, all related to the funds been looted by those in charge. This also lead to Davido asking for the cash refund of his Father’s donated fund as this is not the first time fire outbreak at AG office at Abuja whenever its come to accounting of public funds.
